Ten-X Homes ranked Fort Lauderdale the #1 Single family housing market in the United States.  The rental market is seeing an increase as well. Rental rates are higher and the demand for housing is increasing. Trip Advisor ranked Fort Lauderdale one of the top 25 best US Travel Destinations based on travelers reviews.

Unemployment in Fort Lauderdale is the lowest in South Florida at 4.8%. Broward County current population is estimated to be 1.9 million. Fort Lauderdale has reported their population at 181,530.
